Velvet Moth Art is a small studio founded by Rose, based in Málaga, Spain.
Her work centers around transformation, softness, and the surreal — exploring these themes through painting, drawing, jewelry, and fiber arts. Many pieces are created using thrifted or reclaimed materials, allowing old forms to take on new life.
Velvet Moth is a space for slow making and quiet symbolism. The process values intuition over trends, and care over speed. Each object is made by hand, with the hope that it will feel both gentle and grounding in its new home.
About Tattoos by Rose
Alongside her studio practice, Rose also works as a tattoo artist under the name Get Inked by Rose.
Her tattoo work is influenced by many of the same themes found in Velvet Moth Art — softness, symbolism, and transformation — translated onto the body. She works in a thoughtful, collaborative way, creating designs that are personal and intuitive to help you be the the YOU that you are on the inside— on the outside as well.
